Mission & Vision

The primary goal of Breakthrough Academy Chartered Public School (BACS) is to build on the principles of self-efficacy, intrinsic motivation, relevance, and sustained engagement. Breakthrough Academy Chartered Public School aims to combine competency-based education within an agricultural learning environment, allowing students to achieve competencies while gaining skills in agriculture and farming. Utilizing a well-rounded curriculum, students will master their abilities and gain confidence and skill sets that will allow them to become innovative leaders and contribute to New Hampshire’s growth. Integrating competency-based education and agricultural learning provides an environment where students can lead responsibly, utilize their moral compass to direct their learning path, and impact the world around them grounded in knowledge and application of life skills

To become innovative leaders in society, students need an opportunity to learn in an environment that benefits them as human beings and is grounded in moral values. Breakthrough Academy Chartered Public School seeks to equip students with a moral compass and intrinsic motivation to pave a path, create bridges, and burrow through the challenges in life. Students will come to understand the world in which they live and the environment that surrounds them, and find meaningful value that will benefit their communities. Finally, all students will achieve their personal goals intellectually, artistically, and morally.
